One: The Reformer

Core Fear: Being corrupt/evil, defective

Core Desire: Being good, integrity, accurate, to be balanced

Core Weakness: Resentment (repressing anger)

Core Longing: “You are good”

Biblical Character: Apostle Paul

Type Description:

Ones are conscientious and ethical, with a strong sense of right and wrong. They are teachers, crusaders, and advocates for change: always striving to improve things, but afraid of making a mistake. Well-organized, orderly, and fastidious, they try to maintain high standards, but can slip into perfectionism and being critical. They typically have problems with resentment and impatience. At their Best: wise, discerning, realistic, and noble. Can be morally heroic.

Movement of Arrows:

When moving in their Direction of Disintegration (stress), methodical Ones suddenly become moody and irrational at Four. However, when moving in their Direction of Integration (growth), angry, critical Ones become more spontaneous and joyful, like healthy Sevens.

February 21, 2021

This week consider the following questions in light of how you would like to take the invitation to travel, intentionally, with Jesus on this Lenten Journey.

Reflection:

1)what is something that gives me comfort?

2) what is a distraction?

3) what is unnecessary?

4) what would I feel the absence of?

Practice:

Consider what the next season will look like for you as you walk with Jesus through Lent. Plan out anything you need to.
