Seven: The enthusiast

Core Fear: of being deprived and trapped in pain

Core Desire: to be satisfied and content- to have need fulfilled

Core Weakness: Gluttony- fill self up with experiences in order to find core desire

Core Longing: “you will  be taken care of”

Biblical Character: King Solomon

Type Description:

Sevens are extroverted, optimistic, versatile, and spontaneous. Playful, high-spirited, and practical, they can also misapply their many talents, becoming over-extended, scattered, and undisciplined. They constantly seek new and exciting experiences, but can become distracted and exhausted by staying on the go. They typically have problems with impatience and impulsiveness. At their Best: they focus their talents on worthwhile goals, becoming appreciative, joyous, and satisfied.

Movement of Arrows:

When moving in their Direction of Disintegration (stress), scattered Sevens suddenly become perfectionistic and critical at One. However, when moving in their Direction of Integration (growth), gluttonous, scattered Sevens become more focused and fascinated by life, like healthy Fives.

February 21, 2021

This week consider the following questions in light of how you would like to take the invitation to travel, intentionally, with Jesus on this Lenten Journey.

Reflection:

1)what is something that gives me comfort?

2) what is a distraction?

3) what is unnecessary?

4) what would I feel the absence of?

Practice:

Consider what the next season will look like for you as you walk with Jesus through Lent. Plan out anything you need to.
